This spring break, my friends and I took a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas for a nice getaway. It's refreshing to take a few days off sometimes and put your worries away... to put on a dress and just celebrate. :)

It’s already the end of 2012! I have to say that it’s been a really amazing year for me. There were a lot of firsts, dreams that came true, adventures embarked, and friends made. I’m so grateful for the whole journey the year has taken me, it truly made me a different person by seeing the world in a different perspective. I hope 2012 had treated you kindly too and let’s look forward to the new year ahead.

some of 2012 highlights:

• turning 21 granted me first-time access into clubs/bars
• interned at the largest tech company over the summer: Hewlett-Packard
• challenged my lifelong fear of heights at a waterpark in Roseville, CA
• travelled to Boston & New York City
• saw Bob Dylan in concert
• helped my little brother move into his first year of college
• learned Kendo
• jumpstarted a new club at school with my friends
• voted in the General Election for the first time
• first smartphone: iPhone 5
